How to Play Flappy Bird

Flap for an upward burst, then let gravity pull the bird down. Crossing the trailing edge of a pipe pair earns a point; touching a pipe, the ceiling, or the ground ends the run immediately.

Press Escape to pause.

Scoring and Leaderboard

Every cleared pipe pair adds one point. The gap holds at 180 pixels through the first five-point tier, then narrows by 8 pixels at each five-point milestone until it reaches 130. Pipe speed rises at ten-point milestones from 2.2 to a capped 2.8 pixels per simulation step.

You can play without an account. Score submission asks only for player initials.
